Announcing Irrigation Design Specialist class
I’m going to be teaching two Hunter University Irrigation Design Specialist workshops at the Urban Farmer Store in Richmond on February 26th and March 2nd, 2019. This is a one-day workshop. We chose to teach it on a weekday and a Saturday, so people could choose between the two. EDIT - We have added a third session on Wednesday, March 6th.
I’m really excited about teaching this workshop because it covers the hydraulics and pipe sizing basics that are largely misunderstood by many. I’ve given several drip seminars in the past few years, and I’m surprised at the number of people in those classes that haven’t learned these basics. So when I saw this Hunter University class was being offered to teach, I jumped at the chance. What’s covered in this all-day class is exactly the foundation upon which any kind of irrigation design is built. Please note this class doesn’t include drip.
A version of this class can be taken for free on the Hunter website. But if you want an “up close and personal” experience, I believe you can’t fail with an in-person class where you can ask questions and get support from not only the instructor, but fellow attendees of the class. And if you create a Hunter account, and go on the Hunter website to take the same quiz you’ll take in our class and pass it, Hunter will grant you their Certificate of Completion for the class.
Here’s the link to the web page for this in-person event, in case you’re interested. Space is limited, so act soon. I hope to see you there. https://puddle-stompers.com/events/index.php
