Following is a list of possible classes planned for the future. We sent out a survey to landscape professionals asking them to choose the subjects they most wanted to learn more about. Over 100 respondents have taken the survey. Drip Design was the number one subject asked for, and the rest of the classes listed here show the order in which they were ranked by the survey respondents.
If you're interested in taking this 5-question survey to help influence the priority of the development of these classes, please click the red pencil guy.
The subjects with the links next to them are already active in the Flash Cards and Flash Quiz apps. Check them out!
Following are the photos from the drip installation we did at a residence in Lafayette, California. It was the second day of a 2-day seminar. The first day was learning drip design in the classroom, at the EBMUD offices in Oakland. The following week, we all showed up to install this drip system that we designed and installed on top of a sheet-mulched front lawn. I co-taught this seminar with my friend and colleague, Scott Sommerfeld. The final product reflected his fantastic design and direction that day. Seth Wright, landscape contractor, was an instructor on the hands-on day, as well. He had installed the underground piping infrastructure that we connected the drip system to. This was so much fun! I tip my hat to Scott and Seth for helping to make this a wonderful event!
The materials for this drip installation were donated by Hunter Industries. Chris McNairy of Hunter gave a fantastic presentation on the Hunter Hydrawise controllers in the garage. Thank you, Hunter! Thank you, Chris! Wow, wow, wow!
